MANILA, Philippines–Strong Group Athletics-Pilipinas begins its bid for a third straight title in the 2026 William Jones Cup basketball tournament in Taiwan from August 14 to 23.
The Philippine-based team is in Group A with Japan, South Korea and host Taiwan’s Chinese Taipei Blue. Group B features Jordan, Malaysia, UC Irvine Anteaters of the United States and Chinese Taipei White.
The preliminary round features a double-round robin format per group. The top two teams–with host teams already qualified–advance to the semifinals.
