MANILA, Philippines–Gilas Pilipinas men’s basketball team sees action on the road as the third window of the Fiba World Cup 2027 Asian Qualifiers begins.
The Filipinos play New Zealand in Auckland before flying to Perth to face home team Australia in a pair of away games.
Gilas Pilipinas, which has a 2-2 win-loss record in Group A, has already qualified for the second round of the qualifiers.
Australia leads the group with a perfect 4-0 card while New Zealand is tied with the Philippines. Guam is at the bottom at 0-4.
