MANILA, Philippines — The Supreme Court has released its disposition rate on judicial and administrative cases.

According to Supreme Court Spokesperson Camille Ting on Thursday, December 4, as of September 30, the high court has posted a disposition rate of 19% for judicial cases and 27% for administrative and bar matters.

The disposition rate refers to the percentage of cases resolved or concluded by the court within a specific period compared to the total number of cases filed or pending.

This was lower than the high court’s disposition rate in 2024, which posted 22%.

For appellate courts, the disposition rates are as follows, according to Ting, as of November 2025:

  • Court of Appeals – 37%
  • Sandiganbayan – 46%
  • Court of Tax Appeals – 20%

Meanwhile, the first- and second-level courts have resolved 578,662 cases with a disposition rate of 48%, as of Oct. 31, 2025.
