SB19’s “Pagtatag!” documentary will make its Japan premiere at the Osaka Asian Film Festival (OAFF).
On Instagram, the band’s company 1Z Entertainment said, “We're beyond thrilled to share SB19’s ‘PAGTATAG!’ journey to a wider audience!”
“It was an unforgettable adventure and we can't wait to take the Japanese A'TIN along with us!” the agency added.
“Pagtatag!” will be screened on March 16 at 10:30 a.m. and March 25 at 9:25 p.m., both at the Theatre Umeda Cinema 4 in Osaka. Tickets are available on the OAFF website.
According to its official website, OAFF is a platform to watch and introduce Asian films, support filmmaking in Osaka, and attract Asian filmmakers to the prefecture. It is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
“Pagtatag!” was released in 2024. It presented moments from SB19’s concerts, their challenges as a group, but also their talent and hard work for their craft.
SB19 released the singles "Moonlight," "Ready," and "Kalakal” that same year.
The P-Pop Kings are marking a new era this year. They will release a single from their upcoming third EP on February 28, while the EP itself, “Simula at Wakas,” will come out on April 25.
They will also embark on another world tour.
