After its initial showcase at Samsung’s Unpacked event last January, the Galaxy S25 Edge finally goes official as an ultra-slim flagship.
The phone only measures a mere 5.8 mm thin and weighs about 163 grams. That’s extremely thin and light compared to the Galaxy S24+ (which the brand made a comparison with) that sported 7.7 mm thickness and 196 grams of weight.
Samsung touts the Galaxy S25 Edge’s enhanced durability rocking a titanium frame and sandwiched by Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 at the front display, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 at the back.
The phone is also IP68 rated for dust and water resistance.
Specs-wise, the phone runs on the custom Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset, clocked at up to 4.32GHz. For config, it’s available with 12GB of RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage.
The rear protrudes a dual camera setup highlighted by a 200-megapixel main (wide) shooter with OIS paired with 12-megapixel ultrawide lens.
Flip to front, it features a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. And on the software-side, the phone runs on the latest One UI 7 based on Android 15 and includes Galaxy AI.
One possible drawback of this phone is its battery life, packing only 3900mAh unit. Wired charging remains at 25W with no support for wireless charging. Still no power brick in the box.
