Sprout Solutions disrupts the future of SaaS in latest convention

Industry leaders talk about leveraging data and AI

“SaaS (software as a service) as we know it is dead,” shared Sprout CEO and co-founder Patrick Gentry during his opening remarks for this year’s SaaScon.

From suggestions on how we write our emails to being able to code entire websites, AI is slowly changing everything we know about our online lives. And Gentry says the industry can’t stand idly by as the tech revolutionizes how we interact with information.

At SaaScon 2025, aptly themed “SaaS 2.0: Surviving and Thriving in the Age of AI,” more than a thousand SaaS leaders, startup founders, investors, and tech professionals gathered at the Marriott Grand Ballroom to answer that very question.

“We come here with an open mind to learn about the technology happening today and the kind of impact happening now. That’s what today’s about. We are in [a] time of dramatic age. And SaaS is absolutely part of that change.”

Throughout the day, insightful talks and roundtable discussions discussed how AI and data are redefining the game. From customer retention and onboarding to product development, the speakers sparked ideas around how companies can build better tools and smarter operations while making sure that their companies remain human-centered.

Three simultaneous afternoon breakout sessions were also offered so SaaS users, founders, and investors have a choice on the type of info they need for their business:

  • Growing Business Talks with Reynaldo Lugtu, Fleire Castro, Eli Harrell, and James Mendoza
  • Enterprise Exchange, with thought leaders from IBM, Accenture, AWS, Concentrix, And Foundever, among others.
  • The Founders and Funders Forum, led by Franco Varona (Foxmont).

As Sprout Solutions marks its 10th year in the Philippines, its biggest event of the year was another testament to just how forward-thinking the company is. From their roots as an HR payroll company in 2015, they’ve grown into a launchpad for fellow Filipino companies to usher in the future.

SaaScon PH 2025 would like to thank a dynamic coalition of sponsors and partners, reflecting the growing momentum behind SaaS innovation in the Philippines. At the forefront was Mynavi, serving as this year’s Platinum Sponsor, with KMC Solutions as Gold Sponsor—both reinforcing their leadership in shaping the future of work and technology in the region.

The event is further supported by Silver Sponsors: Crayon PH, Hive Health, Twala, Olivia, Britana, Ascend, and Sansan. Their participation enabled the delivery of high-value sessions, hands-on showcases, and meaningful engagement across the SaaS ecosystem.

A broad network of Strategic Partners also played a key role in amplifying the event’s reach and relevance. Representing sectors spanning technology, business, HR, and social development, the group includes: Asia CEO Forum, Xamun AI, JuanTax, Beeline, Philippines HR Group, Plan International Pilipinas, Dasho Content, AFG Partners, British Chamber of Commerce Philippines (BCCP), International HR Institute, VRI Times, People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP), Events Hub, J&S Events Management Services, VHub Human Resources and Organizational Development Consultancy, Kaya Founders, Wavemaker Partners, Unisol, and Globaltronics.
