Rufa Mae Quinto has spoken up about the issues surrounding her marriage with Trevor Magallanes.

On Friday’s “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” Rufa said she’s waiting to talk to her husband to clear things out.

I’m here. I’ll be here forever,” she said.

[Because I'm always away. So maybe we can talk first, fix things up, apologize. Assure him I'm here. I'll be here forever.]

Rufa acknowledged there’s always two sides to a story, so she knows that Trevor has his reasons too.

“We're going through something, tinatanggap ko. Walang nag-file,” she said.

[We're going through something, I admit it. Because if he doesn't want to be married anymore, why will I not respect that? But the legalities, nobody has filed for divorce.]

Rufa also has no plans to file for divorce, joking that “ang dami ko nang file sa kaso.”

[We got married here in the Philippines so I also don't know what to do. It's still painful, we also have a child.]

According to the commedienne, Trevor is a good father and a good husband, but he is not from showbiz.

Tahimik, very private kasi. Hindi po,” she said. “Gusto ko siyempreng mag-antay sa next step.”

[He is not from show business so he gets affected easily. He doesn't want to get rumored, to be talked about. He's very private and quiet. Of course, he gets hurt when he hears rumors it's all about the money, things like that. I want to wait for the next steps.]

If she had it her way, Rufa hopes to fix things with Trevor.

“Mahal ko siya, siyempre. Tsaka gusto ko siyempre makumpleto ang pamilya namin,” she said.

[I love him, of course and I want our family to be complete.]

Rufa and Trevor got married in 2016. A year later, they welcomed their daughter Athena.

They live in the United States.
