RTWPB MIMAROPA EMPLOYERS SECTOR REPRESENTATIVE TAKES OATH Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Secretary and National Wages and Productivity Commission (NWPC) Chairman Bienvenido Laguesma (fourth from left) administered the swearing-in of Carol Vernette Ramos Estares (fourth from right), the appointed employers sector representative of the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) in the Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan, or Mimaropa region, on Jan. 14, 2025, at the DOLE Central Office in Intramuros, Manila. Composed of representatives from the government, employer and worker sectors, RTWPBs are mandated under the Wage Rationalization Act to determine and fix minimum wage rates applicable in their region, provinces, or industries and to issue the corresponding wage orders, subject to guidelines issued by the NWPC.
