How did Rocco Nacino and Dion Ignacio change after tying the knot with their wives Melissa Gohing and Aileen Sison?
On Thursday’s “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” the actors admitted that they were once popular among the ladies during their younger years.
“Siguro karamihan naman ng lalaki eh dinanas ‘yan eh. Pero ang importante naman ngayon, nagbago ka, ‘di ba? Dahil may family ka na,” Dion said.
He said that he remains loyal and avoids temptation from other women because “sisirain niya ‘yung family ko ngayon.”
Dion added that ever since he was baptized as a Christian, the temptations went away.
“[Madali nang] mag-no. Lalo no’ng kinasal na, parang ito na ‘yung armor mo sa kanila para hindi ka pasukin ng mga tukso,” he said, showing his wedding ring.
Rocco agreed, adding that every person has their own story and journey.
“Sa ‘kin, ‘yung rason kung ba’t naging gano’n po ako dati ay niloko po ako. So, naging defense mechanism ko na ako ang maglalaro sa mga babae dahil nasaktan po ako no’ng pinakaunang mahal ko,” he shared.
Eventually, Rocco realized that he was wrong.
"Until nalaman ko po na ayaw ko munang magkaro’n ng any relationship, do’n ko nalaman na hindi pala gano’n dapat. May respeto sa sarili, do’n po ako nagkaroon ng respeto sa babae," he said.
Like Dion, Rocco added that it’s easy to say no now.
“Alam ko pong hindi ko po kailangan ng mga ganiyan. Iba na po ang priorities ko ngayon: anak, career, trabaho, at how to leave a legacy,” he said.
It was in 2021 when Dion revealed his engagement to Aileen and tied the knot shortly after the announcement. They have two children together.
Rocco and Melissa also got married in 2021.
They have one child, Ezren Raffaello, or EZ.
Rocco currently stars in "Lolong: Bayani ng Bayan," which airs weeknights at 8 p.m. on GMA Prime. Meanwhile, Dion stars in "Mommy Dearest," which airs weekdays at 3:20 p.m. on GMA Afternoon Prime.
