Ridon: QC court ruling clears way for House impeachment vote vs Duterte

MANILA, Philippines — House Committee on Public Accounts Chair, Rep. Terry Ridon on Thursday welcomed the dismissal of lawyer Manases “Mans” Carpio’s petition by a Quezon City court, saying the ruling removes what he called an unnecessary obstacle to the impeachment proceedings against Vice President Sara Duterte ahead of a critical plenary vote on Monday.
