Those who wish to pay their final respects can do so as the wake details have now been released.
According to GMA Integrated News, Ricky's daughter, Rikki Mae Davao, shared that the wake will begin today, May 4, at Heritage Park in Taguig City. The first day is scheduled for Ricky's family and friends from 3 p.m. until 11 p.m. There will be a novena Mass at 7:15 p.m.
On Monday (May 5), the viewing will be open from 2 p.m. until 11 p.m and a Christian service will take place at 6:30 p.m.
A family tribute will be on Tuesday (May 6) from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. There will be a novena Mass at 7:00 p.m.
Then on Wednesday (May 7), the viewing will begin at 10 a.m. to 1 p.m and a Mass will take place at 11 a.m.
Last May 2, Viva Entertainment officially confirmed that Ricky Davao passed away at the age of 63.
His daughter Ara Davao also shared a statement, revealing that her father spent his final moments peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, after bravely battling cancer.
"For more than four decades, he dedicated his life to the craft of acting and directing. His remarkable body of work and award-winning performances have left a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire. Most of all he was a loving father, brother, son, and friend," she wrote. "We are deeply grateful for your prayers, love, and kind messages during this difficult time."
