RACE. Riders gear up for an off-road adventure.
Ride For Solidarity
Organized by Ride For Solidarity, the 2025 Onslaught National Enduro Race rolls off this weekend in Vermosa, Cavite
MANILA, Philippines – The 2025 Onslaught National Enduro Race gets going on April 26 and 27 with a P2-million worth of prizes up for grabs.
Organizer Ride For Solidarity (RFS) — a company founded by passionate riders, creatives, and community advocates — said the prize pool is set to be the largest ever for the enduro race competition.
The Enduro Factory off-road track in Vermosa, Cavite will host this weekend’s Leg 1, kickstarting a five-leg series.
RFS believes the Enduro Factory track brings “technical rigor and safety” to the races, while providing a backdrop of Cavite’s scenic views.
Aside from enduro racing, the Onslaught Series features surfing, skateboarding, and mountain biking (downhill and cross-country) competitions on top of other festivities in different parts of the country.
The national series also hopes to “raise competition standards, prepare Filipino athletes for global competitions, and position the Philippines as a host of international-caliber sporting events.”
“Each race leg is more than a competition, it’s a festival that will create economic opportunities for the local community, showcase Filipino products, and launch social innovation initiatives tailored to the communities RFS visits,” the organization said in a statement.
This year’s competition will be exclusive to Filipinos, but the organizers teased a possible expansion for international racers next year.
There will also be live music, culinary showcases, brand exhibits, and interactive community activities to provide a festival-like feel for the enduro race fans in attendance.
Additionally, big bikes such as the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the 2025 KTM 390 Enduro, both of which cost nearly P350,000, will also be raffled on each night of the event.
A festival pass costs P500 and includes a raffle ticket, an RFS Onslaught cap, and access to the festival grounds.
All legs of the Onslaught Series will be broadcast live on RFS digital platforms. – Rappler.com
