MANILA, Philippines — Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) is strengthening its commitment to financial inclusion as ATM Go, the Bank’s pioneering alternative ATM network, scales into 2026 through strategic partnerships that bring banking services closer to where Filipinos already live, work, and do business.

Rather than relying solely on traditional brick-and-mortar branches, RCBC is expanding its presence by embedding ATM Go into trusted community-based partners, particularly money service businesses (MSBs). Through this ecosystem approach, everyday financial services become available in familiar locations, extending the Bank’s reach to rural and remote areas across the country.

RCBC President and CEO Reggie Cariaso said the move reflects the Bank’s long-term vision of inclusive growth powered by collaboration.

“RCBC continues to build ecosystems that meet Filipinos where they are, Cariaso said. “By partnering with institutions that are already deeply rooted in communities, we are effectively expanding our branch footprint without walls, bringing banking closer and more relevant to everyday life.”

At the heart of this expansion is RCBC’s collaboration with trusted money service businesses embedded in communities across the country. Through ATM Go terminals placed in these partner locations, banking services are brought closer to where Filipinos live and work. This approach allows RCBC clients,

including DiskarTech users, to transact more conveniently, while opening the door for more Filipinos to access safe, formal banking without traveling far or visiting a traditional bank branch.

Beyond access, the initiative is designed to support real-life use cases such as sending money to family members in the province, setting aside savings from daily earnings, or moving funds quickly and securely without traveling far or standing in long lines. By working with MSB partners embedded in local communities, ATM Go helps turn routine financial moments into opportunities for savings, security and financial growth.

RCBC is also broadening how Filipinos move money across the country. Through ATM Go’s partner network, customers will be able to send and receive funds nationwide with the speed and convenience Filipinos expect from remittance services, now backed by RCBC’s digital infrastructure. This further strengthens ATM Go as a practical bridge between physical touchpoints and digital banking channels.

For RCBC account holders, the expanded ecosystem means greater flexibility in sending money even to those without RCBC accounts. With MSB partners acting as accessible endpoints, recipients can conveniently receive cash almost anytime and anywhere, reinforcing RCBC’s commitment to inclusive, customer-centric innovation.

Lito Villanueva, RCBC executive vice president and chief innovations and inclusion officer, shared that these strategic partnerships will allow RCBC to serve more Filipinos by giving them easier access to financial services that support their goals and livelihoods.

“Our mission to include more Filipinos into the digital banking system will definitely transform more communities, enterprises, and entrepreneurs,” Villanueva emphasized.

The expansion builds on RCBC ATM Go’s track record of industry-first innovations, including manual cash withdrawal services for international-issued Visa and Mastercard cardholders and QR-powered cash withdrawals that allow users of other banks and e-wallets to cash out using their mobile phones. With an expanded suite of features and enhanced digital access, ATM Go is expected to sustain its visibility as the country’s leading alternative ATM banking service.

In 2025, RCBC ATM Go earned multiple industry recognitions for its impact and innovation, including “Outstanding Digital Innovation in SME Banking - Highly Acclaimed” at the Global SME Banking Innovation Awards, “Agent Banking Initiative of the Year’ at the Asian Banking & Finance Retail Banking Awards, and ‘Best Customer-Centric Product” at the Bank Marketing Association of the Philippines Awards.
