MANILA, Philippines – Former senator Juan Ponce Enrile, now the chief presidential legal counsel of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., has been acquitted in all of his pork barrel cases. The Sandiganbayan cleared him of 15 counts of graft on Friday, October 24.

Apart from him, the anti-graft court also cleared his former assistant Gigi Reyes, businesswoman Janet Lim Napoles, and several others in the cases that stemmed from Enrile’s alleged P172.8-million pork barrel transaction with Napoles.
