MANILA, Philippines — Asia Rose Simpson of Quezon City bested 23 other delegates to be adjudged as Miss World Philippines 2026.
She was crowned by outgoing queen Krishnah Marie Gravidez and reigning Miss World titleholder Suchata "Opal" Chuangsri of Thailand at the close of the competition.
Asia Rose fast-tracked herself by winning two pre-pageant competitions — the Talent challenge and Beauty with a Purpose project — aside from being named as one of the Best in Swimsuit winners earlier in the evening.
Best in National Costume winner Anne de Mesa of Manila was declared the first runner-up and was crowned by last year's Universal Woman Philippines titleholder Jasmine Omay.
Toledo Medical and Hikari Skin Essentials ambassador as well as head-to-head challenge winner Gabrielle Fuentes Galapia of Pampanga was announced as the second runner-up and was crowned by Sophia Bianca Santos, who also represented Pampanga last year and finished in the same position.

In a separate announcement, five other titles were handed out:

- Universal Woman Philippines 2026 - Marizza Delgado from the Filipino Overseas Community of New York
- Best in Evening Gown winner

- Miss Global Philippines - Valerie Pawid West of Ifugao
- Best in Swimsuit winner
- Sports challenge winner
- Miss Bench Active
- Miss Honest Glow
- Miss Monarch Montage
- Miss Pro-Shot
- Hikari Skin Essentials and Toledo Medical brand ambassador
- Miss Tourism International Philippines - Jayvee Lyn Lorejo of the Davao Region
- People's Choice winner
- Top Model challenge winner
- Miss Photogenic
- Miss Tasty Fit

Miss Teen International and Miss Tourism International Philippines title are two new acquisitions of the ALV Pageant Circle, the latter previously held by the Mutya ng Pilipinas organization until last December.
Mutya ng Pilipinas initially crowned a national winner with the title the month but it was relinquished following the latest turn of events.

The two other ladies who made it to the final round (Top 10) were Margarethe Elize Romano (Filipino Community of the United Kingdom, Face of Nova Asthetics) and Nikki Malabuyoc Lorzano (Batangas Province).
Rounding out the semifinalists (Top 15) were Gwen Marie Perion (Bukidnon, Miss Juan Hand), Ansha Lichelle Jones (Zamboanga City), Cindy Valencia (Negros Island Region), Cristal Brises Peralta (Iligan City), and Zoe Sofia Gabon (Naga City, Multimedia challenge winner).
The only other delegate to receive a special award, Miss Congeniality, was the unplaced Angel Abergas from the Filipino Community of Singapore.
This year's panel of judges chaired by Bench's Bryan Lim featured the likes of shoemaker Jojo Bragais, fashion designer Leo Almodal, and reigning Universal Woman Ivanna Carolina of Puerto Rico.
Omay, Miss World Philippines 2022 Tracy Maureen Perez, and Universal Woman 2024 Maria Gigante, hosted proceedings with anchors Teejay Marquez and Mark Ian Garcia at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
