CONGRESSIONAL aspirant Rose Nono Lin received the endorsement of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) for her candidacy in the race for Quezon City's Fifth Legislative District.

While there is no official proclamation by the INC, sources close to the religious group and Lin's camp both confirmed the endorsement. In a statement, Lin thanked the INC for their support in her fight to "raise the quality of public service for the residents of District 5 and address the problems that they have shared with us."
"Malalim po ang pasasalamat natin sa tiwala at suporta na ibinigay sa atin ng Iglesia ni Cristo," Lin continued. "Kasama natin sila sa pagtindig para sa mas maunlad na distrito, mas ramdam na mga programa, and tapat na paglilingkod."
(We are deeply grateful for the Iglesia Ni Cristo's trust and support. They are our allies in standing up for a more prosperous district, better programs, and transparent public service.)
Lin also shared how her charity organization, the Rose Lin Foundation, has worked with the INC before to reach more deserving beneficiaries.
