PSEi climbs past 6,000 in early trade on US-Iran truce boost

MANILA, Philippines – Philippine stocks rose at the opening bell on Wednesday, tracking a regional rally after news of a two-week truce between the United States and Iran eased fears of a wider Middle East conflict.  The benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) climbed 1.95 percent or 116.19 points, to 6,074.06 as of 9:30 a.m.
