Price Tracker lists the latest Metro Manila benchmark prices compiled from available reported figures and national reference data.

MANILA, Philippines — Motorists and drivers of public utility vehicles are about to face higher costs of petroleum products this week starting Tuesday, September 15.

This is after the Department of Energy announced the following upward price adjustments on Monday, September 14:

  • Diesel: up by P4.31 per liter
  • Kerosene: up by P4.62 per liter
  • Gasoline: up by P5.68 per liter

The price increase will remain valid until Monday next week, September 21.

The energy department has earlier said that continuing conflicts in the Middle East, the intensified tensions between the United States and Iran affecting the operations in Hormuz Strait, and the recent Red Sea attacks have contributed to the rising global oil prices, and affected local pump price costs.
