MANILA, Philippines — Kris Aquino postponed a planned medical operation after a spike in her blood pressure.
"The Queen of All Media" was initially scheduled to undergo a minor procedure yesterday as part of her treatments for numerous autoimmune diseases.
Kris, however, announced in an Instagram story that the operation had to be rescheduled after her blood pressure got too high.

"Nervous, having trouble sleeping. My procedure was re-sked because my BP last night was too high," Kris wrote in her story. "My heart is overwhelmed. Praying for PEACE."
A fan page dedicated to Kris and her youngest son Bimby previously posted during the end of 2025 that she was hospitalized after her blood pressure reached 215/118. The page said they obtained Kris' permission to post about it.
For the last couple of years, Kris has been battling a number of autoimmune diseases, rarely going out in public or posting on social media due to her health condition.
