PNP defends Senate shooting probe, says ready to face scrutiny

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Monday defended its investigation into the May 13 shooting incident at the Senate. “Our investigation report was a product of meticulous work and dedication of our personnel to establish what really happened based on the pieces of evidence obtained,” PNP chief, Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr.
