MANILA, Philippines — The much-anticipated Miss Grand International All Stars competition is slowly coming into focus with the announcement of judges to select the inaugural winner.

With pageant proceedings set to start a month away, organizers have begun unveiling the members of the jury.

Previously announced to be part of the panel were Miss Grand International 2022 Isabella Menin, Miss Universe 2005 Natalie Glebova, and legendary beauty pageant entrepreneur and former Miss Venezuela president Osmel Sousa.

The Philippines will not just have five representatives — so far — in the competition but also on the jury pool as Filipino shoe designer Jojo Bragais will be involved.

Bragais' shoe brand is the official footwear partner of the pageant, having also sponsored other competitions like Miss Universe, Miss USA and Binibining Pilipinas.

Also adding intrigue to the panel of judges is the inclusion of Lebanese musician Omar Harfouch, most recently known for causing a stir at Miss Universe 2025 several months ago.

Harfouch was part of the pageant's selection committee but withdrew following claims that an "impromptu jury" had already selected the semifinalists.

French football star Claude Makelele also withdrew from the selection committee, citing unforeseen circumstances, leading to Filipino singer Louie Heredia and the previously mentioned Glebova to take their places.

Controversy continued to hound the competition, especially after Mexico's Fatima Bosch was crowned the winner.

But now eyes turn to Miss Grand International All Stars which continues to accept contestants, the most recent being Miss Universe 2018 2nd runner-up Sthefany Gutiérrez from Venezuela.

The Philippines is currently being bannered by Fuschia Anne Ravena, Alexia Núñez, Keylyn Pan Guevara Trajano, Gazini Ganados, and Imelda Schweighart.
