MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Postal Corp. (PHLPost) joined the Supreme Court in commemorating its historic milestone as the SC celebrates its 125th anniversary through the unveiling of special commemorative stamps.
PHLPost said the stamps serve as lasting symbols of the judiciary’s enduring role in safeguarding democracy, protecting constitutional rights, and upholding the principles that have guided the nation for generations.
Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo, PHLPost Chairman Kristjan Vicente Gargantiel and Postmaster General Maximo Sta. Maria III led the unveiling ceremony and formal presentation of the commemorative memorabilia at the SC’s en banc session hall in Manila on Thursday.
