MANILA, Philippines — Last year’s top three richest individuals in the Philippines have maintained their positions this year, according to Forbes.
In its list released on Thursday, August 7, the children of the late Henry Sy topped the “Philippines’ 50 Richest” with a combined net worth of $11.8 billion (P675.55 billion), despite a decline from their 2024 net worth of $13 billion (P744.26 billion).
They were followed by shipping magnate Enrique Razon, whose net worth rose to $11.5 billion (P658.35 billion), and former politician turned real estate tycoon Manny Villar, whose fortune also grew to $11 billion (P629.73 billion).
According to Forbes, the collective wealth of the Philippines’ 50 richest individuals increased by over 6%, reaching $86 billion, up from $80.8 billion last year.
