MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines' longest-running travel fair is set to make a return this September.

The Philippine Tour Operators Association (PHILTOA) is set to stage the 37th Philippine Travel Mart (PTM), seeking to highlight domestic travel and a more future-ready tourism industry with the travel fair carrying the theme "Nurturing the NextGen Tourism." It follows last year's theme of “Boosting NextGen Tourism.”

The fair is also supported by the campaign "Discover Your Philippines," which encourages Filipinos to explore more local destinations. It is anchored on PHILTOA’s NextGen Tourism framework, built around four pillars: sustainability, digitalization, inclusivity, and health and wellness, reflecting shifting priorities in how Filipinos travel and experience destinations.

Happening from September 4 to 6, 2026 at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City (Halls A–D), the PTM continues to function as a one-stop marketplace for travel deals, bringing together tour operators, travel agencies, hotels, resorts, airlines, transport providers, LGUs and tourism-related brands.

Beyond destination showcases, the fair is known for on-site discounts on tour packages, hotel stays, flights and travel essentials. Visitors can also expect live performances, talks and destination presentations throughout the fair, adding a cultural and educational layer to the travel marketplace experience.

"As we mount the 37th Philippine Travel Mart, we are both proud and hopeful about the role we continue to play in strengthening domestic tourism. This year's theme reflects our commitment to supporting a more resilient, inclusive, and forward-looking industry — one that creates opportunities not just for businesses, but for communities across the country," PHILTOA President and 37thP PTM Organizing Committee Chair Ma. Lourdes Japson said.

"At a time when many Filipinos are more mindful of travel costs, we believe that exploring our own destinations remains one of the most meaningful ways to reconnect, recharge, and contribute to the local economy," she added.

PTM is also supported by the Department of Tourism, along with all regional agency's of the country from Regions 1-13, Cordillera Administrative Region, Bangsamoro Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao, expected to take part in the three-day event.

Tickets will be available online starting July 2026 via PHILTOA's website, Philtoa.com, with general admission priced at P120 and discounted rates for senior citizens and persons with disabilities.
