MANILA, Philippines — Philippine Airlines (PAL) ranked as the most punctual airline in the Asia-Pacific region in November, according to an aviation analytics report by Cirium.
In its November 2025 On-Time Performance Monthly Report, Cirium said PAL placed first among Asia-Pacific airlines, recording an 84.67% on-time arrival rate for the month.
The report also showed that PAL completed 96.31% of its 9,739 scheduled flights in November.
Cirium highlighted the following operational metrics for PAL in November:
- Within block time: 80.62%
- On-time arrivals: 84.67%
- On-time departures: 81.45%
Regional rankings
PAL topped the regional rankings, followed by:
- Korean Air: 83.72%
- Jeju Air: 83.25%
- Japan Airlines: 80.87%
- ANA Airlines: 80.68%
- Cathay Pacific: 79.45%
- Air New Zealand: 79.38%
- Asiana Airlines: 75.55%
- Garuda Indonesia: 75.37%
- Singapore Airlines: 75.15%
How Cirium measures punctuality
Cirium measures on-time arrivals based on whether a flight reaches the gate within 15 minutes of its scheduled arrival time.
On-time departures are likewise recorded if an aircraft leaves within 15 minutes of its scheduled departure.
