PhilHealth keeps 21 essential medicines under YAKAP available in 2026

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) announced that the 21 essential drugs and medicines covered under the PhilHealth Yaman ng Kalusugan (YAKAP) Program will remain available to members throughout 2026. In Advisory No. 2026-0007 dated Jan. 14, PhilHealth said the medicines will continue to be provided at YAKAP-accredited primary care facilities nationwide.
