MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Coast Guard has expanded the health care services for PCG personnel, dependents and, for the first time – its retirees.
The PCG yesterday signed a partnership with Bell-Kenz Pharma to strengthen health care support and to provide continued care for those who serve even beyond active duty.
“We are proud to extend health care support to our frontliners in the Coast Guard,” Luis Raymond Go, medical director of Bell-Kenz Pharma, said.
Under the partnership, active PCG personnel and their dependents will be given subsidized medical consultations, discounted medicines and enhanced diagnostic services.
Retired PCG members will also receive health care services.
The PCG will also receive a semi-automated blood chemistry analyzer, an automated external defibrillator and continuing medical education programs.
PCG Admiral Ronnie Gil Gavan thanked Bell-Kenz Pharma for its support.
