MANILA, Philippines–RR Pogoy will sit out TNT’s game against San Miguel Beer in the 2026 PBA Governors’ Cup on Saturday due to a knee injury.

The Tropang 5G have placed Pogoy on the injured/reserve list after hyperextending his knee during their thrilling win over the Converge FiberXers last Tuesday.

To fill the void left by Pogoy, TNT has activated Poy Erram, who has not played since early this year.

Pogoy left in the third quarter of the Tropang 5G’s 110-107 win at Ninoy Aquino Stadium after getting hurt while going for a basket against MJ Garcia.

In the same game, Jordan Heading also hurt his shoulder, but could play against San Miguel as TNT did not place him on the IR.

TNT holds a 2-2 record in Group A playing sans key players Calvin Oftana, Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser, Jayson Castro and Kelly Williams.

So far, the Tropang 5G have relied mostly on their second unit, namely Sean Quitevis and Henry Galinato.

The matchup with the Beermen at Mall of Asia Arena will also see the conference debut of Rahlir Hollis-Jefferson, who is taking the place of Darius Days.
