MANILA, Philippines–San Miguel Beer zoomed past Titan Ultra, 143-113, on Wednesday to go into the long break on a high note in the 2026 PBA Governors’ Cup at Ynares Center in Antipolo.
Import George King unloaded 39 points while Rodney Brondial also came through with 13 points and 17 rebounds as the Beermen improved to 7-2 following another lopsided result.
Marcio Lassiter also made a key contribution to the rout, scoring 15 points as San Miguel enters the two-month respite holding second spot in Group A, behind leader NLEX (7-1).
The win also came after blowing out guest team Macau by 52 in Rodriguez in the first half of a stretch against the group tailenders.
Titan Ultra dropped to a 2-7 slate after a second-straight blowout defeat.
Also last Saturday, the Giant Risers were crushed by 34 against the TNT Tropang 5G.
A 34-point showing from import Tirrell Brown was not enough to extend Titan Ultra’s woes this conference.
Adding insult was the loss of rookie guard Bryan Sajonia to a knee injury during the third quarter.
