MANILA, Philippines–Meralco played villain to Phoenix in the PBA Philippine Cup, as the Bolts crushed the Fuel Masters’ playoff hopes with an 88-78 win Friday night at Ninoy Aquino Stadium. Not only did the Bolts send Phoenix’s quarterfinal bid crashing, they also strengthened their own footing in the playoff race, improving to a 5-4 record
