Pangilinan: Adopting Senate version can speed up budget approval

MANILA, Philippines — One way to fast-track the approval of the proposed P6.793-trillion budget for 2026 in the bicameral conference committee is to adopt the Senate version, Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan said on Wednesday. Pangilinan is part of the Senate contingent to the bicameral committee, which is set to convene on Dec. 12 to 14.
