Palace refutes Pulong Duterte’s claim of scripted Marcos impeachment rap

MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang on Tuesday slammed claims of Davao City 1st District Rep. Paolo “Pulong” Duterte that the impeachment complaint against President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is a mere “scripted distraction.” An impeachment complaint was filed against Marcos on Monday over his alleged involvement in a 2025 corruption scheme concerning unprogrammed appropriations, among other issues.
