Palace: Marcos won’t interfere in Senate leadership change, impeachment

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. will not interfere in the leadership change in the Senate or in its handling of the impeachment proceedings against Vice President Sara Duterte, as such matters fall within the chamber’s authority, Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said on Tuesday. On Monday, Sen. Alan Cayetano was installed as the
