MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang has declared several special non-working holidays in various parts of the country from the last day of February through late March 2026.

The special holidays were issued under Proclamations No. 1164 to 1179, signed by Executive Secretary Ralph Recto by authority of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., according to an advisory from the Office of the Executive Secretary released on Saturday.

Here’s the list of declared special non-working holidays:

  • Feb. 28, 2026 – Tangub City, Misamis Occidental
    Declared under Proclamation No. 1169, this marks the 58th Charter Anniversary of Tangub City.
     
  • March 6, 2026 – Gutalac, Zamboanga del Norte
    Under Proclamation No. 1170, Gutalac will observe its 4th Araw ng Gutalac.
     
  • March 6, 2026 – Tadian, Mountain Province
    Proclamation No. 1171 declares the Ayyoweng Di Lambak Ed Tadian Festival as a special non-working day.
     
  • March 10, 2026 – Tanauan City, Batangas
    Proclamation No. 1164 recognizes the 25th Cityhood Anniversary of Tanauan.
     
  • March 10, 2026 – Norala, South Cotabato
    Under Proclamation No. 1165, the municipality will commemorate its founding anniversary.
     
  • March 13, 2026 – Bauko, Mountain Province
    Proclamation No. 1166 declares the Begnas di Bauko Festival a special non-working holiday.
     
  • March 17, 2026 – Tayug, Pangasinan
    Declared under Proclamation No. 1176, Tayug will celebrate its founding anniversary.
     
  • March 18, 2026 – Masbate Province
    Under Proclamation No. 1167, the province will mark its 125th Founding Anniversary.
     
  • March 19, 2026 – Kawayan, Biliran
    Proclamation No. 1177 sets the day for the Charter Anniversary of Kawayan.
     
  • March 19, 2026 – Canloan City, Negros Oriental
    Under Proclamation No. 1178, Canloan will observe the Pasayaw Festival.
     
  • March 24, 2026 – Tabaco City, Albay
    Proclamation No. 1179 declares the day as a holiday for the Charter Day and 25th Cityhood Anniversary of Tabaco.
