Palace assures efforts being done to curb rising unemployment

MANILA, Philippines —  Malacañang has assured the public that the government is continuously working to improve the employment situation in the country after the latest unemployment rate surged to a four-year high of 6 percent in July, up from 4.9 percent in June.
