Pagasa predicts 4 to 11 tropical cyclones from February to July 2026

MANILA, Philippines — A range of four to 11 tropical cyclones may affect the country from February to July 2026, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Wednesday. In the 192nd Climate Forum, Senior Weather Specialist Dr. Joseph Basconcillo said the number of tropical cyclones will increase from February to July.
