P637-M farm damage reported in Ilocos after storms, habagat

SAN ILDEFONSO, Ilocos Sur — Agricultural damage in the Ilocos Region from Tropical Cyclones Luis, Maymay and Neneng, and the southwest monsoon has reached P637.17 million, affecting more than 20,000 farmers across the region. The latest assessment by the Department of Agriculture on Thursday (Aug. 27) showed that 20,294 farmers have been impacted by weeks
