P500 monthly wage hike for C. Visayas ‘kasambahays’ by October – DOLE

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on Tuesday said domestic workers in Central Visayas will receive a P500 monthly salary increase starting next month. Under the newly issued Wage Order No. ROVII-DW-06, the minimum monthly wage rate for ‘kasambahays’ or domestic workers in the region, including the provinces of Negros Oriental
