MANILA, Philippines — Filipinos abroad intending to vote in the 2028 elections may now register with the Commission on Elections.
The Comelec said the overseas voter registration started on Dec. 1 and will run until Sept. 30, 2027.
To make the registration easier, the poll body opened iRehistro where voters may fill out the registration forms digitally.
The Comelec said iRehistro is not an online registration system, but is used only “to fill out and generate the overseas voter registration form or OVF1 with a QR code.”
Overseas Filipinos may accomplish the OVF1 through https://irehistro.comelec.gov.ph/ovf1.
Applicants must save a copy of the system-generated PDF file containing the accomplished OVF1 form on their device and produce a print copy.
The print copy will serve as the OVF1 form, which voters must personally submit to the nearest overseas voter registration site for processing.
Overseas Filipinos aged 18 years and above are qualified to register.
