"The Brutalist," the award-winning film that earned Adrien Brody his second Best Actor recognition from the Academy Awards, opens in the Philippines today, March 5, exclusively at Ayala Malls Cinemas.
Besides Brody's acting accolade, The Brutalist also won Best Original Score and Best Cinematography.
The film follows Hungarian architect László Toth (Adrien Brody), who escapes a war-torn Europe and arrives in America to rebuild his life and career. His unique and compelling work catches the attention of wealthy industrialist Harrison Lee Van Buren (Guy Pearce). So unfolds a story of László navigating his way in a strange new country, gaining prominence which comes at a heavy price.
