MANILA, Philippines — Cash remittances from Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) rose in October, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) said, lifting year-to-date inflows for the first 10 months of 2025.
In a statement issued Monday, Dec. 15, the BSP said cash remittances reached $3.17 billion (P187,353,340,000) in October 2025. This is higher than the $3.12 billion recorded in September.

The strong October performance pushed the total cash remittances for the January to October 2025 period to $29.20 billion (P1,725,588,600,000), according to the central bank.
The total value of personal remittances, which encompass cash sent through both formal and informal channels, along with non-cash remittances , reached $3.52 billion in October 2025.
The cumulative figure for January to October 2025 was $32.49 billion, according to the central bank.
Source countries. The United States remained the largest source of remittances to the Philippines in October.
Singapore and Saudi Arabia followed, rounding out the top three contributors to cash remittance inflows.
