MANILA, Philippines — Food content creator Ninong Ry ended his 2025 on a somber note by marking the passing of his beloved dog Luna.

Ninong Ry posted his tribute to Luna on his social media accounts, penning a brief farewell message for his fur baby.

"Maraming salamat sa lahat ng masasayang ala-ala. Salamat sa pag bantay at pag protekta samin. Salamat dahil pinanatili mo kaming ligtas," he said. "Mahal na mahal ka namin. Mamimiss namin yung kulet mo, yung lambing mo. Lahat."

The food vlogger is in the process of moving to a different studio to film his content, something he is rationalizing as the reason why Luna departed from this world if not to save his family from something ill headed their way.

"Hindi ko alam. Masakit kasi kaya sinusubukan kong mag make sense sa isip ko. Di ka namin makakalimutan," Ninong Ry said, vowing to put a large painting of Luna on the entrance of his new studio to make as if they were still guarding the team.

"Run free, Luna. Sana bantayan mo pa din kami. Unli takbo at unli content na pwedeng kainin dyan hahahaha," the content creator ended. "Di ka namin makakalimutan. Mahal ka ng maraming tao."

Among those who left condoling messages on Instagam were Iza Calzado, JP Anglo, Red Ollero, Chinkee Tan, Eri Neeman, and fellow content creators Jujumao, Charuth and Dingdong Bahan.

Meanwhile, Ninong Ry's Facebook post was filled with supportive comments from fans and followers with their cherished memories seeing Luna on the food vlogger's videos.
