The 24-year-old, the only four-time Best Middle Blocker in UAAP women’s volleyball history, was widely expected to be among the first names called in what was initially projected as a star-studded draft class.

She was even considered a potential No. 1 overall pick following Solomon’s withdrawal.

The former UP standout also turned heads at the draft combine, posting the highest approach jump at 311 centimeters and the second-best vertical reach at 297 centimeters.

Also opting out of the draft to focus on Alas Pilipinas duties are Letran standouts Lara Mae Silva and Natalie Estreller.
