Nikki Gil's daughter Maddie is diagnosed with Kawasaki Disease.
On Instagram, the singer and former VJ shared her frustration as a parent upon seeing her kid suffer from her illness.
"Maddie was diagnosed with Kawasaki Disease — something we had never even heard of," she wrote.
"And seeing our little girl in pain, hooked to IVs, enduring tests and meds, was the hardest thing we've ever gone through as parents," she added.
Nevertheless, Nikki thanked Maddie's medical team and their village for all their help during this challenging time.
"We're finally home with our brave girl, and while recovery continues, our hearts are filled with gratitude," she said.
