Nazareno 2026: ‘Pahalik’ begins Wednesday evening, Jan. 7

MANILA, Philippines —  The traditional “Pahalik” is set to begin on Wednesday evening, Jan. 7, ahead of the annual Feast of Jesus Nazareno. According to the Quiapo Church, the ‘Pahalik,’ which involves devotees touching and kissing the image of Jesus Nazareno, will start at 7 p.m. at the Quirino Grandstand in the City of Manila.
