Miss Universe Thailand is now under Nawat Itsaragrisil!

The announcement was made during the press conference of the Miss Universe Thailand (MUT) 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand on Tuesday.

On X (formerly Twitter), the MUT organization shared photos of Nawat with Miss Universe Organization co-owner Anne Jakrajutatip from the press con.

“We are together,” it wrote along with the hashtags #TheNewEraofMUT, #MGIxMUT, #MissUniverseThailand and #MissUniverseThailand2025.

In a video message posted by the organization on X, Miss Universe co-owner Raul Rocha Cantu also congratulated Miss Grand International (MGI) PCL, headed by Nawat, for being the new license holder of MUT.

“On behalf of the Miss Universe Organization, congratulations to MGI-PCL on becoming the official license holder of Miss Universe Thailand,” he said.

According to Cantu, the “partnership will create amazing opportunities, especially for the contestants representing Thailand on the Miss Universe stage.”

“I look forward to seeing the growth and success of this platform under the MGI team. I hope we can collaborate closely to continue empowering Thai women on the global stage,” he added.

In an Instagram post Monday, Nawat posted photos of himself with the logo of Miss Universe as his background.

“Miss Universe x MGI Org,” he wrote in the caption.

In another post, Nawat shared a video teaser showing a new era of the MUT and simply wrote: “The New Era,” and tagged the organization’s Instagram account.
