MANILA, Philippines — Comedian John Feir is two months earlier in attending the upcoming wedding of “Pepito Manaloto” co-star Mikoy Morales.
Mikoy shared an anecdote about his fellow co-star who went to a Makati wedding supposedly thinking it was his. Mikoy is set to marry his non-showbiz girlfriend in March.
Mikoy included in his post a screenshot of his conversation with Feir where the latter called him to tell him of his misadventure.
Feir sent a photo of him in Barong, telling Mikoy his whereabouts. Mikoy found the story funny as Feir revealed he incorrectly read the wedding details. Guests to Mikoy’s March wedding are asked to confirm their attendance on January 3, which Feir thought was the wedding date.
Guests at the weekend wedding were confused about a star attending the Makati wedding. Feir realized his faux pas and called their fellow “Pepito Manaloto” co-star Chariz Solomon to confirm his mistake.
“Ayun, dumating kanina.
Chariz plays Janice, the wife of Feir’s Patrick, who is the best friend of Pepito, played by Michael V.
Mikoy ended his post with a witty liner that references their long-running comedy show.
“Kaya advance thank you sa pag-punta, kuya John! I-kain mo na lang ‘yan ng hatdog!” Mikoy quipped about the hotdog-loving Patrick.
