Posters in different languages have been released for Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino’s romantic-comedy film, 'My Love Will Make You Disappear,' under Star Cinema.

MANILA, Philippines — Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino’s romantic-comedy film “My Love Will Make You Disappear” is set for an international release in 34 countries.

On Thursday, Kim took to Instagram to share her excitement, thanking ABS-CBN Star Cinema for the opportunity and the expansion of the film’s promotional reach.

“Thank you (Star Cinema) still can’t believe we have 11 posters in different languages. I mean no words…. just thank you. Maraming salamat po. Can’t wait to show the world what we have prepared for them,” the actress wrote.

Kim’s post also included photos of their movie’s official posters in 11 various languages.

Initially set for a February release, Star Cinema has rescheduled the local premiere of “My Love Will Make You Disappear” to March 26 so as to accommodate “expansion opportunities in the North American market,” as reported by ABS-CBN News.

This will be followed by international screenings in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei on March 27. It will then premiere in the United States, Canada, Saipan, Guam, Hong Kong and Macau on March 28.

Viewers in Italy, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Malta, Finland and France can watch the film starting March 29, while the Middle East release is set for March 30. The movie will then arrive in Austria on April 5 and in Cambodia on April 18.

Directed by Carlo Victor Vidanes, “My Love Will Make You Disappear” follows Sari (Kim Chiu), who believes she is cursed to make her loved ones disappear, and Jolo (Paulo Avelino), a heartbroken landlord, as they join forces to to confront their fears and consider whether love is worth the risk, even if it might vanish.

This project reunites Kim and Paulo for the second time after their 2023 romance-thriller series “Linlang,” where they starred alongside JM de Guzman. Earlier this year, the two also headlined “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?,” the Filipino adaptation of the hit Korean drama.

During the film’s presscon on Wednesday, the two stars said that they never expected to work together on a project, let alone become close to each other.

“Hindi ko alam na makakatrabaho ko ito sa 18 years (ko) sa industry… Kasi sabay kaming nag-simula. Mas matanda ka lang sa akin,” Kim said.

The actress, who entered showbiz via ABS-CBN’s reality show “Pinoy Big Brother,” added that she just used to watch Paulo on “StarStruck,” the reality artista search on then rival network GMA 7. “Pinapanood na kita sa ‘StarStruck.’ Sumasayaw ka pa noon. Actually, bumoto ako (sa ‘yo).”

The same sentiment was shared by Paulo. “I never did. Hindi ko nga alam na makatrabaho ko si Kim. But I wanted to work with her. Never ko talagang in-expect because after a while, nag-iba na rin yung tahak ng mga gusto kong gawin. So, hindi ko alam na kay Kim pala ang bagsak ko,” the actor quipped.
