Cabuyao City — Motorists and pedestrians may have noticed by now the murals along the national highway that depicts the colorful history of Cabuyao from being a small town to becoming one of the most progressive cities of Laguna.
The murals also highlight the livelihood of residents from the past and the rise of various industries that propel the city today.
The paintings also showcase the city's tourist attractions and landmarks.

Mayor Dennis Hain said the "Balintatanaw project" was launched to educate the youth about the city's history and showcase the local artists.
He added that this initiative also supports National Arts Month as the city aspires to become the creative and cultural capital of southern luzon.
Renowned artist Manny Garibay led the creation of the murals alongside local artists. Art exhibits are also being held at the clubhouse of Cabuyao Athletes Basic School and at the Cabuyao City Hall.
