MANILA, Philippines — Fans of NewJeans may be finding themselves an unlikely ally in the Korean girl group's legal issues with label ADOR — the most-followed YouTuber in the world, MrBeast.
The five young members of NewJeans made headlines in November 2024 when they announced their decision to leave ADOR, prompting the label to request an injunction barring them from any commercial activities.
Last October, a Korean court ruled that the members must honor their contracts with ADOR, a subsidiary of HYBE.
Two months later, ADOR announced the removal of one member, Danielle, and filed a compensation suit against her.
A number of NewJeans fans, Bunnies, jumped on the thought that changes could be made if ADOR or HYBE was under new ownership, leading them to flooding MrBeast's social media posts.

Last January 5, an entertainment outlet reported on X how Bunnies were flooding the comments sections of MrBeast's TikTok video asking him to help Danielle.
"What do I need to do?" MrBeast surprisingly replied.
As of writing, his post has received 43,000 likes, 6,000 reposts, and over 2,000 bookmarks and replies.
Numerous followers responded asking MrBeast to help Danielle obtain legal aid; others as vague as "Save NewJeans"; and even some going the extreme by suggesting he buy ADOR and/or HYBE.
